VAMECA provides expert guidance in selecting and sourcing valves, seals, and components for both process and utility systems in pharmaceutical facilities. Our dependable support covers part number identification, replacement components, technical specifications, and required documentation. Every configuration is engineered to match your specific operating conditions and project requirements.
PHARMACEUTICAL
Technical Selection · Supply · Replacement Parts
START WITH THE APPLICATION
The performance requirements depend on the process fluid, the valve's function, and the component's location within the system. A single facility can encompass all three operating environments.
PROCESS VALVES
Isolation, process protection, and sampling each require a distinct configuration. Here are four starting points to evaluate against your specific technical requirements.
GASKETS, SEATS AND DIAPHRAGMS
Process media, cleaning agents, and thermal cycles all place demands on the same component. Proper selection must account for every operating phase, not just active production.
ONE COMPONENT · MULTIPLE CONDITIONS
01
Media composition, concentration, operating temperature, and operating pressure.
02
Cleaning agent, concentration, temperature, cycle time, and frequency.
03
Sterilization method, temperature, duration, and cycle frequency.
Identify the exact valve model, geometry, and material grade. Matching dimensions or identical colours do not guarantee interchangeability.
Please specify the fitting standard, profile, and compound formulation. EPDM, FKM, silicone, and PTFE refer to material families, not a complete technical specification.
VAMECA custom-cuts gaskets based on your selected geometry and materials. For product-contact applications, the approval of the material grade and its technical documentation remains subject to your project specifications.
PROCESS SOLUTIONS
The auxiliary system requires its own dedicated selection. The valve, its actuation, and its interfaces must be engineered as a complete assembly.
Isolation, control, and drainage for utility piping systems. Upstream pressure, downstream pressure, flow rate, and condensate return dictate the ideal solution.
Specify fluid quality, internal surface finishes, drainability, and required documentation. Industrial steam equipment is not an automatic equivalent.
Define the actuation, fail-safe position, power supply, control signal, and required position feedback.
ENGINEERING & PROCUREMENT
A component may have the correct diameter yet still be incompatible with the system. VAMECA helps clarify interfaces and discrepancies before the RFQ stage.
Component orientation, flow direction, end connections, overall dimensions, and maintenance clearance for wear parts.
Metal grade, seats, seals, actuator, and required surface finish. Outline any variations when considering an alternative.
The required certificates and declarations must precisely match the specific model, materials, and configuration being supplied.
YOUR REQUEST FOR TENDER PACKAGE
IDENTIFICATION
Manufacturer, model, line tag, and configuration.
DIMENSIONAL DRAWING AND CONNECTIONS
Diameter, standard, dimensions, orientation, and face-to-face dimensions.
MATERIALS AND DOCUMENTATION
Material grades, surface finish, and required documentation.
Component acceptance and process qualification remain the responsibility of your quality team.
PROCEED TO REQUEST A QUOTE
Send us your available details. VAMECA will help you define your technical requirements, identify any missing specifications, and prepare the proper equipment supply for your facility in Quebec or anywhere across Canada.
A targeted request allows us to assess your configuration, quantity, and lead time. Product availability and technical documentation will be confirmed upon final proposal selection.
Part number or photo of the nameplate, function, size, and end connections.
Media, concentration, pressure, temperature, flow rate, and cleaning cycles.
Materials of construction, surface finish, certified test reports, and acceptance criteria to be provided.
Quantity, delivery location, and required date. Please indicate if this is for a planned shutdown or an emergency.
