Specify the media, its concentration, temperature, pressure, and the intended service. Every wetted material must then be thoroughly evaluated, including the valve seats and seals. Generic designations such as “stainless steel” or “PTFE” are insufficient to validate the complete assembly.

SELECTION STARTS HERE
The right material. For the right conditions.

02 / OUR SERVICES
03 / THE FUNCTION
Stainless steel, PTFE, PFA, or elastomer: a material specification alone does not qualify a complete valve assembly.
THE CRITICAL TRIO TO INSPECT
Fluid. Temperature. Pressure.
These parameters must be evaluated together to determine the exact manufacturer configuration.
A chemical resistance chart serves as an initial reference. Chemical mixtures, operating temperatures, and equipment operating conditions require dedicated technical validation.
01
To be verified
Lining compatibility, pressure-temperature ratings, potential vacuum service, and sealing components. For scaling and media buildup, evaluate dead zones and flushing options.
02
The actuator is included in the project specifications
Specify the available power supply, control signal, and fail-safe position in the event of power loss. Sizing must account for all operating conditions.
03
The Detail That Counts
Flange type and condition, as well as gasket dimensions and thickness, must be specified. A flat cut gasket is not an automatic substitute for a valve seat, diaphragm, or moulded seal.
SAMPLE INQUIRY
"We need the exact same valve for our caustic soda line."
The existing part number serves as a baseline. The technical file must also specify the current operating conditions.
01
Concentration, media mixture, temperature, or cleaning agents: document your current operating conditions.
02
Compare the diameter, end connections, pressure class, face-to-face dimensions, and actuation footprint.
03
Document any observed leakage, jamming, or wear. Have our specialists review any deviations before confirming an equivalent replacement.
Media
Media, chemical composition, concentration, state/phase, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Operating Conditions
Standard and extreme pressures and temperatures, potential vacuum conditions, and cleaning procedures.
Function
Isolation or control, flow rates, and fail-safe position upon loss of power.
Assembly and Documentation
Diameter, flanges or connections, overall length, actuation/operator, tag number, and required documentation.
