Add the exact functionality your facility requires
Accessories are selected using the complete actuator part number. The generation, power supply, and existing options determine mounting compatibility. VAMECA provides expert technical support for this verification across Quebec and Canada.
Order Now
Select an analogue input or interface engineered for seamless automation integration.
Monitor
Retrieve position, status, or fault feedback based on the installed equipment.
Provide on-site service
Access local control and configuration for compatible models.
Plan for isolation
Distinguish between a stored energy reserve and a standard override control input.
Which accessory for which application?
These compatibilities apply specifically to the documented product lines. They do not automatically extend to AMS2 generations or Ex-rated versions. Certain options must be specified at the time of ordering, notably PSCP, FSP, PSC.2, and communication buses on PSQ103/AMS1x models.
| Accessoire | Fonction | Familles | Restrictions |

| PSPT02 / PSPT03 | mA Position Feedback | PSL, PSQ, PSQ-E, PSR-E | Potentiometer and external 24 VDC power supply required |
| 2WE | Two adjustable positions | Documented Standard and PS-AMS | Standard on PSQ-E and PSR-E25/50. Optional on PSR-E-C45. |
| 2ND | Torque Indication | Standard PQR | Limited availability within this product line |
| RH | Anti-condensation heater | Documented Standard and PS-AMS | Configuration adapted to the power supply and enclosure |
| PSCS USB | PC-Based Configuration | PS-AMS PSL and PS-AMS PSQ | Interface and software engineered for generation |
| PSC.2 | Local Control and Display | PS-AMS PSL and PS-AMS PSQ | Size-dependent mounting |
| Bus Interfaces | Control and Data Exchange | Documented PS-AMS | Module selected according to protocol |
| psig | Process Control | Documented PS-AMS PSL and PS-AMS PSQ | Process sensor and configuration required |
| PSCP | Supercapacitor Backup | PS-AMS PSL and PS-AMS PSQ | Not compatible with FSP |
| FSP | Priority Order Entry | PS-AMS PSL and PS-AMS PSQ | No stored energy capability. Incompatible with PSCP |
| FIR | Fault Indication | Documented PS-AMS | Already integrated into select models, including the PSQ103/AMS1x |
The Right Accessory for Your Actuator
You don't have to piece together the entire bill of materials on your own. Using the nameplate data and existing options, VAMECA helps you pinpoint the correct part number and determine whether a component can be field-retrofitted or must be factory-configured at the time of order.
Identify Existing Equipment
Complete Part Number
Please provide the model, serial number, and generation details.
Power Supply
Please specify voltage, frequency, and phase count.
Installed Options
Please attach the wiring diagram and part numbers for the installed modules.
Define Requirements
Desired Signal
Please specify the setpoint, position feedback, and communication protocol.
Safety Performance
Differentiate between power loss, signal loss, and manual override.
Environment
Specify ambient temperature, humidity, outdoor installation, and any hazardous location (Ex) requirements.
A clear photo of the nameplate and the required function are all we need to get started. Our technical team will confirm compatibility, installation requirements, and accessory availability.
Three Key Distinctions to Consider Before Ordering
Functions with similar names can serve very different operational requirements.
PSCP or FSP
PSCP stores energy to drive the actuator during a power outage. FSP receives an overriding command to move to a preset position. These two functions are incompatible.
Positioner or Transmitter
The PSAP receives a setpoint and controls the movement, while the PSPT transmits the position feedback to the automation system. Ensure the potentiometer and wiring match the selected configuration.
Local or Manual Override
PSC.2 enables electric control and local configuration. The handwheel operates according to the actuator mechanism. Neither of these designations guarantees an energy reserve.
