Dual independent flow paths, cleanable valve seats

The VEOX is a double-seat, mixproof valve designed to prevent cross-contamination. It features two independent plugs and a leakage chamber between lines when the valve is in the closed position. This ensures any seal failure is safely diverted and immediately detected. Independent seat lifting allows for thorough seat cleaning without fully opening the valve—a critical function that must be integrated into your production and CIP/SIP sequences. To engineer the ideal configuration, VAMECA partners with your team to evaluate line media, operating pressures, and process conditions across every phase of your operating cycle.

01

01

Circuit Isolation

The leakage chamber provides a positive physical barrier between flow paths when the valve is closed.

02

02

Valve Seat Cleaning

Independent cycling of each disc allows the sealing surface to be cleaned without requiring a full stroke.

03

03

Adaptable Geometry

Available in standard bodies, multi-diameter port configurations, or three-piece designs tailored to your system requirements.

04

04

Sealing Solution Selection

PFA, elastomer, or PEEK disc options engineered to meet your specific media, temperature, and operating conditions.

CONFIGURATION & SELECTION

CONFIGURATION & SELECTION

Based on the product and CIP process scenario

The port configuration and cleaning sequence are just as critical as the valve diameter.

Network Configurations

Standard or stepped body

The stepped configuration allows for the connection of ports with different diameters. Please refer to the general arrangement drawing to confirm available combinations.

Three-Piece Design

This configuration adds directional diverting functionality to line separation, in accordance with your process flow diagram.

Piggable Option

Pigging through the lower line requires an engineered modification of both the body and the bottom disc.

Technical Reference Points

Sizes and Materials

DN 25 to 150 (1" to 6"), depending on standard and configuration. 316L stainless steel body and shut-off mechanism, with a 304 stainless steel actuator.

Three Sealing Solutions

Floating PFA seal, EPDM, FKM, or HNBR elastomer, or PEEK disc. Operating limits vary depending on the selected configuration.

Operating Conditions

The PEEK version is rated up to 13 bar. The applicable limit depends on operating temperature, seal selection, and the service phase.

Your process flow diagram is our starting point. We align flow paths, seals, and control systems with your production and CIP/SIP sequences, then coordinate validation points directly with DEFINOX.

OPERATION AND DOCUMENTATION

Plan operating sequences right from the selection phase

Actuation, purging, and leak drainage must operate seamlessly together.

AUTOMATION

Actuating precision flow control

Define the overall port opening and required strokes. The Sorio limit switch box and pneumatic configuration must be engineered to match these operating specifications.

CLEANING

Verify seat flushing

Specify CIP flow rates, media, temperatures, and stroke durations. The inclusion of a cleaning function does not supersede the requirement for full cycle definition.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

Maintain Access to the Leak

The leakage chamber drain must remain unobstructed. Note the identification number to prepare replacement parts, and ensure adequate clearance is provided for disassembly.
