SERVICES

Fibres and Deposits

Slurry consistency, suspended solids, and media buildup risks dictate port design, valve sealing requirements, and flushing needs.

MATERIALS

Thermal and Cycling Conditions

For steam and condensate systems, look beyond the design temperature to also evaluate differential pressure, startup sequences, and return conditions.

OPERATIONS

Planned Shutdowns

Prior to replacement, verify overall dimensions, end connections, actuation, and wear parts ahead of your scheduled maintenance window.

Stock Preparation and Transfer

Line isolation, tank-to-tank transfer, and equipment feed. Please specify fiber concentration and whether on/off or modulating control service is required.

White Water and Process Water

Rinse, recycle, and cooling water services. The suspended solids load differentiates these processes from standard clean water systems.

Drying and Heat Recovery

Steam regulation, equipment drainage, and condensate return. Assess load variations and back pressure.

Process Products

Additives and chemicals: document their chemical composition, concentration, and actual operating temperature prior to material selection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your Industry Inquiries

Your Industry Inquiries

Your Industry Inquiries

No. Consistency, fibre content, mineral fillers, and differential pressure are all critical factors. An isolation valve cannot simply be substituted for a valve engineered for control.

A sample or drawing helps determine the exact geometry. Process fluid, pressure, temperature, and flange specifications are also required to confirm the proper material and thickness.

The issue may stem from your piping system: backpressure, inadequate condensate drainage, or load fluctuations. Steam trap selection must be evaluated in tandem with its installation.
