METRIC AT THE FOREFRONT

In-Stock Inventory for Your Metric Flanges

Connecting European-made valves, pumps, or industrial equipment? We maintain an extensive local inventory of flanges, with specialized availability in metric DN/PN dimensions.

Send us the required part designation or component dimensions. Our technical team will verify the configuration, local inventory levels, and lead times to meet your exact specifications.

Connecting European Equipment

Identify the standard and bolt pattern of the existing flange before selecting the mating companion flange.

Planning for Maintenance or a Turnaround

Consolidate part numbers, quantities, and required gaskets and seals to streamline procurement.

Complete an installation

Specify the piping and valve interface, along with operating conditions.

FLANGE TYPES

Selecting the Right Design

Weld neck, blind, threaded, or lap joint flanges: each design meets a specific piping assembly requirement. Materials, dimensions, and drilling patterns are confirmed based on the part number.

Slip-On Welding Flanges

Welded directly to the pipe, available with a flat face or raised face depending on the model.

Please specify: bore size, pipe OD, pressure rating (PN), and sealing face.

Welded directly to the pipe, available with a flat face or raised face depending on the model.

Please specify: bore size, pipe OD, pressure rating (PN), and sealing face.

Weld Neck Flanges

The neck is joined to the pipe using a butt weld, and its geometry must match that of the pipe.

Please specify: pipe diameter, wall thickness, and weld end preparation.

Please specify: pipe diameter, wall thickness, and weld end preparation.

Blind Flanges

Used to blank off a pipe end or blind a flanged connection, when paired with the proper gasket and bolting.

Please specify: drilling pattern, seating surface, and operating conditions.

Lap Joint Flanges and Stub Ends

The lap joint flange is used in conjunction with a matching stub end, allowing for easy bolt hole alignment prior to torquing.

To be specified: flange and collar compatibility.

Threaded Flanges

For connecting a threaded connection to flanged equipment. The thread type must be specified.

Please specify: thread type, diameter, and pressure rating (PN).

Slip-On Flanges

The flange slips over the pipe prior to welding. Configurations are available in full compliance with ASME B16.5 standards.

Please specify: pipe diameter, bore, and pressure class.

STANDARDS & END CONNECTIONS

DN / PN vs. NPS / Class: Distinguishing Between the Two Rating Systems

A similar nominal size does not guarantee compatible installation. Prior to ordering, ensure you verify the equipment's standard, bolt circle pattern, and flange sealing face.

Metric Flanges

DN / PN · EN 1092-1

DN and PN designations are used to specify metric flanges governed by the EN 1092-1 standard.

Looking for a legacy DIN reference? Please specify the standard indicated and include any available dimensions.

ASME Flanges

NPS / Class · ASME B16.5

Flanges governed by ASME B16.5 use NPS and Class designations, standard across North American facilities.

An "ANSI" request must specify the applicable standard, size, class, and flange facing.

PN16 and Class 150 are not direct equivalents. The outside diameter, bolt circle, bolt holes, and flange facing must all match.

PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION SUPPORT

A photo and the precise dimensions are all we need to proceed.

Nominal size alone is not enough to accurately identify a flange. Clear front and side-profile photos, along with the stamped markings, are required to initiate our verification process.

General arrangement drawing, not to scale (dimensions not indicated).

A

Outer Diameter

Measure the outside diameter (O.D.) of the flange.

B

Bolt circle diameter (BCD)

Measure the bolt circle diameter (BCD) across the center of the mounting holes.

C

Mounting Holes

Please specify the quantity and diameter.

D

Bore and Tube Connection

Measure the inside diameter. For a weld neck flange, also provide the pipe's outside diameter and wall thickness.

Please include a photo of the gasket seating surface, any markings, and your operating conditions. While dimensions guide identification, they do not replace formal technical validation.

THE RIGHT CONFIGURATION

Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel: Selecting Based on Operating Conditions

Selection applies to the complete assembly. Material and pressure ratings must be fully suited to the process media, temperature, and specific installation requirements.

Carbon steel, 304L stainless steel, or 316L stainless steel

Material selection depends on the media, its concentration, temperature, and operating environment. Specifying a stainless steel grade alone does not guarantee compatibility.

Pressure and Temperature

The PN rating or pressure class does not represent an allowable pressure across all temperatures. Applicable limits must be verified based on the selected material and design.

Flange Facing and Technical Documentation

Please specify flat face or raised face, the applicable standard, and any traceability requirements. If a 3.1 material test certificate is required, please indicate this at the time of your request.

COMPLETE ASSEMBLY

Also include the flange gasket

Gasket selection depends on the standard, facing type, media, pressure, and temperature. We can supply complete flange packages paired with standard or custom-cut sealing gaskets to meet your exact specifications.

Geometry and materials engineered specifically for your assembly's mating surfaces.

A product line to consider based on your flange configuration, bolt torque, and operating conditions.

Cross-reference the part numbers before having our experts validate the selection for your application.

Flange + Gasket + Fasteners

Flange facings, gaskets, bolting, and torque must be fully compatible. Component availability alone does not validate the integrity of an assembly.
