PART NUMBER ANALYSIS

To properly select or replace this material

To properly select or replace this material

To properly select or replace this material

Material Construction and Characteristics

Glass fibre serves as a mechanical filler. Its contribution must be evaluated against gasket seating stress and process media, particularly when the application demands high-purity composition.

Selecting a Replacement Part Number

Contamination requirements, chemical concentration, temperature, and bolt load dictate the choice between virgin and filled PTFE.

To compare constructions: TEADIT 1500 and TEADIT TF 1560. The specific nature of fillers or reinforcements alters gasket performance. Membership in the same PTFE family does not establish equivalency.
