PART NUMBER ANALYSIS
KEY COMPARISON CRITERIA
GYLON 3500 contains a silica filler, GYLON 3510 contains barium sulfate, and GYLON 3530 uses graphite. These formulation differences are far more critical than simply identifying a material as a PTFE family product when sourcing a replacement.

Part Number: Garlock GYLON 3500
Please provide the part number, thickness, dimensions, quantity, and process fluid. We will review material availability for the specified grade, custom cutting at our Quebec facility, or an engineered alternative tailored to your assembly.
The manufacturer's latest datasheets, certifications, and P/T curves must be reviewed prior to ordering or substitution.
Compare GYLON 3501-E and GYLON 3500 without assuming an identical formulation. KLINGER top-chem 2005 and Flexitallic SIGMA 511 utilize silica fillers, with operating limits specific to each individual grade.
