What Differentiates This Material

The product line designation and binder type must be maintained to prevent purely visual substitutions between compressed sheet materials.

Recommendations for Replacement Evaluations

For water and steam applications, verify operating pressure, thermal cycling, and bolt load. A general service material is not automatically qualified for hydrocarbon or petroleum-based media.

To compare construction specifications: Garlock BLUE-GARD 3200 and Garlock Utility Grade 2920. Both sheet materials utilize an SBR binder, but their mechanical properties and service limits can vary.
