Durlon 8600 is a white, compressed non-asbestos sheet gasket material made with aramid and inorganic fibres bonded with SBR rubber. This formulation is engineered specifically for water, steam, and air services, as well as industrial process applications requiring a clean, white material.
Our Quebec facility manufactures custom-cut flat gaskets to your exact specifications. VAMECA can also evaluate the supply of this part number or engineer a suitable replacement.

PART NUMBER ANALYSIS
KEY COMPARISON CRITERIA
The SBR binder sets this grade apart from NBR- or neoprene-bound sheets. When shortlisting a replacement, first evaluate fluid compatibility and binder type, followed by service conditions. Simply sharing an aramid composition is not enough.
